AmeriSign & Graphics has a rich printing history dating back to Milwaukee’s mid-1920s when the company was known as the Index Printing Co. John Sherman, a graphics arts visionary, purchased the company in 1983. In 2002, his son, Chris Sherman; now the firm’s president, came onboard and further expanded the company’s capabilities to include signage and wide-format production – innovations that spurred fast growth and nearly doubled the company’s size.
