When the Milwaukee Bucks knocked on our door, naturally we answered the call. Here at AmeriSign & Graphics we love cool projects. What we really love is when clients put their trust in us to be at the helm designing the project. The Bucks were looking for a direct marketing sales sheet to bolster luxury box suite sales. Our team collaborated with the Bucks staff to craft their vision into a working reality.
First and foremost our goal was to tie into their current marketing campaign Be Milwaukee. The next step was to determine what kind of message was the piece to deliver to their audience. We needed to capture attention and convert those people into sales. Would it be compelling enough? Would it elicit the response they were looking for? Thereafter, we agreed that making art out of words (typography) was the path to pursue. The cornerstone message was “Sweet Ideas for a Suite” What makes typography so cool is that it presents a challenge to balance between the correct voice of the font and placement. Poor font choice could result in changing the tone of the message and too much emphasis on information that is lower priority could miss the target. When done correctly, it has a very powerful effect.
Once the design elements were set in place it was time to get down to business. After the printing and bindery process we embarked on the 5,000 piece mail order fulfillment process. The AmeriSign & Graphics crew successfully hit the mark and the Milwaukee Bucks organization was extremely happy with the service we provided. “Bango! A&G from downtown. nothing but net!”
